Statement of Palm Hill Corporate Online Privacy Practices

Palm Hill recognizes privacy and security as being concerns for most individuals accessing the Internet, including our guests and residents.  This Statement describes how we collect, use and safeguard information you provide when using our web sites in accordance with in which such data is being processed.  By using our web sites, you consent to the collection and use of your information by Palm Hill as set forth in the policy currently in effect.  Any changes to this Statement will be posted on our web sites, so please check back periodically to ensure you have the most current Statement.

This Statement of privacy practices discloses the privacy policy for Palm Hill’s public web sites.  It applies to web sites operated by or on behalf of Palm Hill, Inc. and its affiliated companies and subsidiaries. Please read this Statement to understand the following:

What personal information is collected?
When a visitor enters our web site, we may collect personal information about you, including name, title, company, address, email address, and phone numbers , driver’s license numbers, social security numbers (or equivalent national identification numbers) and date of birth.

Who is collecting the information?
When you are on a Palm Hill site and are asked for personal information, you are sharing that information with Palm Hill, Inc., its subsidiaries and related companies. In addition, Palm Hill web sites may be operated by third parties, or may allow third party vendors to provide products and services directly to  customers. Such relationships are designated with a “Provided By” or “Powered By” company legend or logo, or other similarly worded designation.

What about cookies?
When you enter our site, our server may attach a small text file to your hard drive called a cookie. How is my personal information used?
Our primary goal in collecting personal information is to enable us to contact you if a problem arises. In addition, we share the information you provide with our subsidiaries, affiliates and related companies. We may share your personal information with third-party business partners so that they may provide services to us that are consistent with the terms of this Privacy Statement, and this web site (e.g. database management, sending targeted emails, software sales, and conducting sweepstakes and other promotions on behalf of Palm Hill). We take great pride in utilizing only reputable business partners.  Palm Hill may also, on occasion, provide personal information to third-party businesses as part of a specific product, service, or promotion.

Palm Hill shares web site usage information about visitors to our web sites, who have received a targeted promotional campaign, with reputable third-party advertising companies for the purpose of targeting future campaigns and upgrading visitor information used in reporting statistics. For this purpose, we and our third-party advertising companies note some of the pages you visit on our web sites through the use of pixel tags (also called clear gifs). What choices do I have regarding collection, use and distribution of my personal information?
Palm Hill or its business partners may, from time to time, send you email or direct mail regarding our products and services. If you do not want to receive such information, simply tell us when you give us your personal information, or follow the directions contained on the mailing to remove your name from our mailing list(s).

On certain types of our promotions, we will ask for your email address in order to contact you in the event you have won a prize. When you participate in these types of promotions, you may receive promotion-related email. Occasionally these promotion-related email messages may include targeted advertisements. What about information security?

What about my child’s privacy?
Web sites operated by or on behalf of Palm Hill, Inc. and its affiliated companies and subsidiaries are intended for use by adults (persons age 18 and over). We do not seek to collect information about individuals under the age of 18. No information should be submitted to or posted on our web sites by users under 18 years of age. If an individual under the age of 18 submits personal information to our web sites, we delete the information as soon as we discover it was provided by an individual under 18 years of age and do not use it for any purpose.
